Coherency-induced morphological instability in NiAl-type precipitate

Abstract

This paper presents an investigation of shape transitions occuring in NiAl-type precipitates. These precipitates undergo nucleation and coherent growth with a cube-on-cube orientation. TEM analysis reveal various precipitate morphologies.
