Abstract

The theoretical problems of unsteady ground water flow, with evaporation (or infiltration), are discussed. A method is proposed for computer simulation based on matrix mathematics. It has the advantages of being able to handle complicated initial and boundary conditions, including sloping impermeable layer, and to consider step by step the nonlinearity of the governing differential equations.
