Congenital anomalies of liver vasculature

Abstract

There are a number of congenital vascular anomalies of the liver, including congenital portosystemic shunts (CPSSs), arterioportal shunts (see Chapter 23), persistent right umbilical vein (see Chapter 2) and haemangioma of the liver (see Chapter 17). This chapter concentrates on those structural venous anomalies typically termed CPSSs.
