Abstract

The first sentence of the first paragraph of Sect. 3.1 should be omitted. The second sentence of the first paragraph of Sect. 3.1 should be changed to: Heat transport depends on how far energy carriers (phonons, electrons, atoms, molecules etc.) travel between scattering events, which is called mean free path (MFP) [35]. The following sentence should be added at the end of the paragraph after Eq. (4): From this equation, the MFP value for argon at 100 K temperature is about 8.6 Å, and the minimum domain size required for domain-size independent thermal conductivity of argon is about 5 times the MFP. It should be noted that the assumption of phonon mean free path of argon at 100 K is based on the data available for solid argon, whereas our simulation system is for liquid argon.
