N2 - The authors regret that the anti-suicide and sensation-seeking subscales of the Inventory of Statements About Self-Injury (ISAS) were incorrectly scored. Specifically, an item corresponding to the anti-suicide subscale was erroneously coded as corresponding to the sensation-seeking subscale, and an item from the sensation-seeking subscale was erroneously coded as corresponding to the anti-suicide subscale. These errors applied to all participants with ISAS data. Correction of these coding errors did not result in any substantive changes to the results presented in the manuscript regarding the social and interpersonal functions of the ISAS. In Table 3, the corrected result for the “social functions” variable is t = −0.07, p =.94, and the corrected result for the “internal functions” variable is t = −7.34, p <.001. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
