Abstract
Dicaesium dibismuth zinc pentaselenide, Cs2Bi 2ZnSe5, crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma and is isostructural with Cs2Bi2ZnS5. The structure consists of two-dimensional [Bi2ZnSe5] layers built from BiSe6 octahedra and ZnS4 tetrahedra. The layers are separated by Cs atoms.
