Abstract

A structured easy-to-follow approach to debriefing challenging clinical events, such as the PAUSE framework, can provide peer-learning opportunities to share initial reactions, normalize emotional responses, highlight clinical successes, process challenges, and identify key lessons and areas for improvement.
