Demonstration of a white light cavity for high-speed data buffer using bi-frequency pumped brillouin gain

Abstract

We demonstrate a white-light-cavity (WLC) using a fiber resonator, pumped by two frequencies for two Brillouin gain peaks. Such a WLC is suitable for trap-door data buffering with a high delay-bandwidth product and negligible distortion.
