Design and fabrication of a micro-cavity laser with transparent micro loop mirror

Abstract

We describe a linear laser with micro loops as end mirrors. FDTD simulation is used to design the mirror and laser cavity. Initial fabrication result with threshold of ~0.4mA is presented.
