Funding

To ensure adequate access to CCCR educational sessions, events are free to participants. The CCCR was initially funded through grant support from one of the academic centers and supplemented by support from industry partners. Industry supporters were able to exhibit and thereby serve as additional informants on the therapies relevant to an event’s discussion. Initially, the CCCR catchment area was limited to Chicago. However, through an independent grant funding from the Illinois and Wisconsin Chapter of the ACC, the CCCR was able to expand its reach to a broader audience of other midwestern states. During the COVID pandemic, this funding sustained the CCCR’s necessary transition from an in-person to virtual format.
