Abstract

Two CsPbBr3 Position-Sensitive Capacitive Frisch Grid (PS-CFG) detectors were fabricated and characterized. The devices' sizes in planar configuration were 3×3×6 mm3 (nominal size).137Cs spectra were collected from two detectors for the cathodes signal with no 3-D correction and with 3-D correction from one of the detectors. The synthesis and the crystal growth of the CsPbBr3 materials are presented, the detector fabrication process is described, and the resulting energy spectra are discussed. The use of the 3-D position sensing technique provides information on the crystal uniformity. This technique was applied and the spatial variation in the histograms of the cathode amplitude versus the anode-to-cathode ratio are presented and discussed. A 2.8% FWHM energy resolution at 662 keV was achieved after 3-D correction from the 3×3×6 mm3 PS-CFG CsPbBr3 detector.
