N2 - Splenic B-cell lymphomas are a heterogeneous group of diseases comprising several entities that exhibit overlapping features. Diagnosis of these lymphomas has been reliant on the histopathologic examination of the spleen. However, with advances in diagnostic modalities and therapy, splenectomy is not commonly performed, and diagnosis and subclassification must be rendered based on the blood and bone marrow findings. In this brief review, we summarize the morphologic, immunophenotypic, and genetic findings of splenic B-cell lymphomas in the blood and bone marrow.
