Abstract

Elements in the diet can act as culprit or therapy of chronic renal diseases. We have reviewed the dietary approach to patients with nephrolithiasis, renal insufficiency, and nephrotic syndrome and the theoretical, physiologic, and clinical basis for these recommendations.
