Abstract

The equations which describe the performance of a continuous tubular photochemical reator have been formulated and analyzed by dimensional analysis. Experimental data obtained in a study of the decomposition of hexachloroplatinic acid in water were correlated as suggested by the dimensional analysis, thus partially confirming the validity of the approach.
