Abstract
In this paper we study the problem of generating stereo panoramic video. We propose a setup based on the theory of circular projections and we demonstrate that it is capable of generating stereo panoramic images at video rates. We further study some of the limitations involved in a practical implementation of the proposed setup, with an emphasis on the effects on the disparity, as perceived by human observers.
