Abstract

Pursuant to a study of several alternative methods of disposal, technical and economic reasons indicate that the placement of dredgings in diked containment areas is the best currently available solution. When properly done, such a procedure can successfully remove pollutants from the lake environment and create new landfill for community or industrial development. Data are tabulated.
