Dog mixed lymphocyte culture during renal allograft rejection

Abstract

One way mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) has been used to detect subtle changes in humoral and cellular immunity during unmodified dog renal allograft (rejection. MLC studies demonstrate specific humoral inhibition, and sequestration or inactivation of reactive cells by the allograft as early as 5 days after transplantation.
