Abstract

A feasible technique for measuring relative mean blood velocities in tissue with resolution well beyond color Doppler ultrasound or conventional laser Doppler flowmetry is introduced. The techniques makes use of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a non-invasive optical sectioning technique.
