The structure of tridysprosium copper germanium hepta-selenide has been determined from single-crystal X-ray data. This non-centrosymmetric structure (space group P63) is of the La3CuSiS7 structure type, comprising CuSe3 triangles, GeSe4 tetrahedra, and DySe8 bicapped trigonal prisms.
