Abstract
We discuss the effect of the spin-dependent scattering on conductance fluctuations in the regime where the spin-orbit scattering length lso and the magnetic spin-flip scattering length lS are comparable to the electron-phase-breaking length l. In addition to affecting the magnitude of the fluctuations, we find that the presence of spin-dependent scattering changes the characteristic magnetic-field scale of fluctuations. Our results provide a simple way of interpreting experimental results for any sample geometry.
