Abstract

Practical aspects of equilibrium electrical property measurements - conductivity and thermopower - for conductive electroceramics are discussed, including background, sample preparation, terminal configuration, electroding, instrumentation, experimental protocol, necessary corrections, and error analysis. DC methods are the primary focus, but AC impedance spectroscopy is also considered.
