Abstract

Infectious exanthems are common in childhood and are responsible for a significant proportion of patient visits to a pediatric office. The importance of prompt diagnosis is compounded by the epidemiology of some exanthematous diseases. This article looks at the constantly changing spectrum of exanthematous illnesses in children.
