Abstract

New approaches allowing to investigate combustion in a flow are applied to a sufficiently wide class of multistage chemical reactions. Combustion in a flow for a single-stage chemical reaction is described by a scalar parabolic equation which can be easily investigated using a very simple body of mathematics. A complicated combustion kinetics is considered. A stationary solution stable both to minor perturbations and on the whole is found. For a general case a parametric set of equations is investigated. Values of changes in the solutions with changing parameters are found.
