Abstract
In emergency medicine, interdisciplinary teamwork plays a central role and is fundamental in the management of many critical situations such as resuscitation. Effective teamwork requires careful team management and leadership. Especially in emergency medicine, the burden on team leaders is particularly high. In order to have a good overview in these situations, a so-called lighthouse leadership is important. Efficient team leadership during resuscitation and also in other emergency situations can be learned and should therefore be an integral part of emergency and resuscitation courses.
