Abstract

Reaction of ZrCp2(PMePh2)2 (Cp=η5-cyclopentadtenyl) with cyclopropyl bromtde in toluene, rather than affording ZrBr(C3H5)Cp2 as expected, affords ZrBr(CH2Ph)Cp2 with the elimination of cyclopropane.
