Field methods in research on technology management

Abstract

The field methods in technology management research were discussed. Available concepts, terms, and frameworks provided an inadequate set of symbols for describing the choice of designs used in field research in technological organizations. Dimensional analysis of a sample of research reports demonstrated the usefulness of measuring selected characteristics.
