Abstract

In this study, the fluorescence technique is used to study segregation and phase separation behavior of block copolymers containing styrene. As so little has been published on solution-state and solid-state block copolymer fluorescence, this work reports on basic fluorescence of styrene-containing block copolymers in dilute and semidilute solutions as well as solid-state fluorescence of block copolymers and blends of block copolymers and homopolymers.
