Abstract

The atomic distributions in a mica crystal, based on fourier expansion series, were studied by using x-ray standing wave measurements. The study involved the measurements of standing waves on successive orders of Bragg reflections. The term-by-term fourier expansion series, made of components having element-specific phases and amplitudes, was used for reconstructing the impurity atom distributions.
