Abstract
We generate photon-pairs in signal-idler channels separated by up to 120 nm with high coincidence-to-accidental ratios using a 300-µm-long periodically-poled lithium-niobate ridge waveguide bonded to silicon.

The coupling, filtering losses, and the asymmetry of the signal/idler filters relative to the half-pump frequency degrade the coincidence count rates and the heralding efficiencies. Despite a low loss-corrected idler heralding efficiency of 17.9 ± 0.4% for the 120 nm channel separation, the high CAR shows our chip could be a good, wideband pair source for integration into WDM systems.
