Abstract

A regular fluxon structure occurring in a weakly coupled stack of Josephson junctions in parallel magnetic field (Formula presented) is considered to cause a giant flux quantization phenomenon. We find that the maximums in Fraunhofer pattern originate from the whole chain of fluxons (carrying the total flux (Formula presented) per chain; (Formula presented) is the number of fluxons in the chain) rather than from a single fluxon.
