Screenplay written by David Tolchinsky (1996), commissioned by Girl JV, Inc./Muse Productions, a partnership of producers Chris Hanley (Buffalo 66, Virgin Suicides) and Jeff Most (The Crow).

The production (1998) was financed by Kushner-Locke and HSX. Budget approx. $3 million. Jonathan Kahn directed. Dominique Swain (Face-Off/Lolita) and Sean Patrick Flanery (Powder) star. Based on the novel by Blake Nelson. Distributed worldwide on DVD/iTunes.
