Abstract
Arteriovenous fistula formation is a rare complication of the punch graft technique of hair transplantation. This report describes a large donor site arteriovenous fistula that was clearly demonstrated on arteriography. Operative correction was guided by precise directional Doppler ultrasound localization of the fistulous communication, thus avoiding a large disfiguring incision.
