Abstract

A short tutorial on 3-D hand models, various articulated motion analysis methods, and gestures recognition techniques employed was discussed. The hand gestures analysis included motion modeling, motion analysis, pattern recognition, machine learning, and phycholinguistic studies. The hand modeling was done by modeling shape, kinematical structure, and dynamics using 3-D hand models.
