Abstract
Three girls had Hashimoto thyroiditis and thyroid cancer. Cervical exploration revealed a follicular carcinoma in one, an oxyphilic cell carcinoma in another, and a papillary carcinoma in the third. These cases and clinical and pathologic data to the previously debated concept that Hashimoto thyroiditis coexists with thyroid carcinoma.
