Abstract
The tenth patient with heterotopic gastric tissue in the tongue is reported. The course of treatment with the CO2 laser is reviewed. The histology of this very uncommon heterotopia and possible explanations for it are discussed. The suggestion that this anomaly be included in the differential diagnosis of dorsal tongue masses is made.
