Abstract

A brief outline of the history of superconductivity since the discovery by Kamerlingh-Onnes in 1911 is given. The main discoveries and results are discussed including recent ones as High Transition Temperature Super- conductivity , Organic Superconductors, Heavy-Fermion Superconductors and Superconductivity in Nanostructures.
