title = "How young children pursue their interests with questions",
abstract = "This case study is an investigation of how children pursue their interests and concerns in interaction with adults. This processual focus led us to study children's spontaneous questions, which have mostly been at the margins of research on children's learning and development. Our analysis found that questions are important interactional tools that allow children to simultaneously pursue their interests and concerns while also working within the familiar asymmetries of adult caregiver and child.",
