Abstract
Hypertension was noted in 2 children thought to have a solitary kidney after multiple radiological studies. Aggressive diagnostic evaluation allowed for detection of occult contralateral renal tissue. Surgical removal of this parenchyma resulted in a return to normal blood pressure.
