Abstract
A manipulation primitive and inexpensive conveyor-based method for parts feeding called toppling is described. The mechanical conditions for toppling and the two applications to conveyor-based feeding are presented. Toppling complements previous approaches to conveyor-plane feeding, allowing full 3D parts feeding on a constant speed conveyor.
