Inorganic passivation and doping control in colloidal quantum dot photovoltaics

Abstract

We discuss strategies to reduce midgap trap state densities in colloidal quantum dot films and requirements to control doping type and magnitude. We demonstrate that these improvements result in colloidal quantum dot solar cells with certified 7.0% efficiency.
