Abstract
(Chemical Equation Presented) Ion balls: The composition of nano- and microparticles made from infinite coordination polymers can be chemically transformed through ion-exchange reactions without substantially changing the particle size and morphology. This approach is a straightforward and useful way of creating one precursor set of particles whose composition can be controllably transformed into that of a new set of compounds with different properties.
