Abstract
Jiu-Fen-Er Mountain explores the lives of Taiwanese foreign brides, a group whose presence in Taiwan has been met with much resistance over the last two decades. Rural life in Taiwan is gently revealed as the foreign brides and their husbands cook, pick mushrooms, harvest antlers and care for their children.
