N2 - In order to more clearly examine the effects of anamnestic tissue-associated reactions in the context of transplantation, T cell lines were established from lymphocytes isolated from rejecting canine renal allografts. In the present study, in this canine experimental model, we have characterized the T cell lines with respect to tissue-specific and MHC-disparate immune reactivity. The experimental plan was to study these in vitro reactions, the MLKC, the MLIC, and the mixed lymphocyte pancreatic acinar cell culture (MLAC), each separately described in previous experiments, to determine whether the discrete reactivity of T cell lines exhibited by one reaction is exclusive of the other to further define the specificity, and also to clarify how the reactions are induced.
