Abstract
A soft lithographic approach was described for fabricating low cost, low loss microlens arrays. The negative reproduction of an existing high-quality lens surface was made by thermally curing a prepolymer to a silicone elastomer against the master. The optical and physical characteristics of the resulting lenses suggested that the approach was suitable for a range of applications in micro and integrated optics.
