Abstract

Luminescence characteristics of PPV-yttrium oxide nanocomposite layers for photonic devices were presented. Dielectric inclusions in conducting polymers were also studied. Results showed that the luminescence maximum shifted to shorter wavelength of approximately 460 nm and the spectrum no longer contained distinct vibronic structure.
