Abstract

In this paper, two aspects of nuclear reactor problems are discussed: modelling techniques and computational methods for large scale linear and nonlinear analyses. For nonlinear fluid-structure interaction problem with large deformation, arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian description is applicable. For certain linear fluid-structure interaction problem, the structural response spectrum can be found by the 'added mass' approach.
