Abstract

The quasi-static and dynamic behavior of two composite materials was characterized and failure theories were developed/expanded to describe static and dynamic failure under multi-axial states of stress. A recently developed interfiber/interlaminar failure theory was shown to be in excellent agreement with experimental results.
