Abstract
Meta-analysis is the process of combining information from multiple studies for the purposes of drawing general conclusions. It involves steps of problem formulation, data collection, data evaluation, and data analysis. Data analysis involves pooling estimates across studies and studying their variation by fixed, random, or mixed effects statistical methods.
