Metal oxides and organic materials for flexible displays

Abstract

Organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) and metal oxide TFT (MOTFT) are candidates for several new display and electronic circuit applications. Here we demonstrate the realization of novel organic and metal oxide TFTs for display applications. Our organic TFT show carrier mobilities up to 2-5 cm2 V-1S-1 1 and lon:loff> 106 whereas our oxide and IGZO TFTs exhibit mobilities > 20 cm2 V-1S-1.
