After some exploration into website templates, the team decided to develop the tool using WordPress, which offers many customizable templates that are easy to use and freely available. The team developed most of the website using an existing WordPress template, though they worked with a freelancer to implement some customization to the look and feel of the user interface. The website is hosted by Altmetric.com, and the toolkit receives ongoing support from the Oregon Health & Science University, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), and Altmetric.com.
